CDLI’s Course Design and Teaching Online workshop will be offered May 5th – May 16th this year. The aim of the program is to prepare instructors to design, deliver, and achieve course goals using both synchronous and asynchronous elements. We will cover Learning Objectives and Alignment Maps, Pedagogy and Frameworks for instruction, plus an entire session dedicated to accessibility.
Who Should Participate?
The program is open to faculty and grad students who teach in the College of Education and Human Ecology. We ask that you have a syllabus for a current or future course you plan to build in (or convert to) an online format and a sandbox course site. This is also a perfect portfolio piece for grad students.
Time Commitment and Time Frames
The time commitment for synchronous and asynchronous sessions will be about 20 hours over two weeks.
