CIDN Spring 2024 Showcase
CIDN is committed to partnering with P-12 schools and community organizations to explore creative learning experiences with technologies. On March 21, 2024 we hosted an event at the Longaberger Alumni House to showcase the incredible work EHE faculty and undergraduate students have been doing this semester. We developed projects that explored fashion and technology, coding, stop-motion animation, podcasting, photography, and so much more!

Create, Innovate & Curate topics
Are you interested in learning more about how to integrate XR technologies in your courses? Tech Sandbox was developed to provide faculty and instructors with an opportunity to explore technologies and engage in meaningful conversations with each other about the potential these tools have for curriculum and instruction.
As EHE begins to grow our online portfolio, we are excited about the opportunity to explore emerging technologies for these offerings as well as our in-person courses.
On November 13, 2023 from 11am-12pm, we will be exploring
Augmented Reality (AR) at CoHatch. AR is an interactive technology that overlays virtual elements onto the real world. It can be experienced through your smartphone, tablet, or through specialized hardware such as AR glasses.
Please see the registration information below to sign-up for this session.
Date: November 13
Time: 11am – 12pm
Location: CoHatch Gateway, University District
Focus: AR Technologies
Tech, Creativity, and Social Action: A Glimpse into the Creativity and Innovation Design Network
The Creativity and Innovation Design Network (CIDN), a dynamic hub fostering collaborative partnerships between EHE’s faculty, students, and community organizations, is at the forefront of leveraging technology and media for social impact. Recently, our team participated in a workshop on the art of storytelling using Keynote at the Easton Apple Store.
Building on our newfound insights, we are eagerly gearing up for the upcoming undergraduate creativity fellows’ orientation, as well as finalizing the timelines for our pioneering PreK-12 and community organization partnerships.
The Creativity and Innovation Design Network comprises four faculty innovation fellows, ten undergraduate creativity fellows, as well as a media and STEM learning specialists. With each faculty innovation fellow set to guide a dedicated team of 2-3 creativity fellows, we are brimming with excitement for the upcoming projects scheduled to unfold between November 15 and May 30. We look forward to providing you with a glimpse into the unique projects that promise to make a significant impact on our educational and community landscape. Stay tuned for more updates!
