Research in the center will be grounded in the principles of critical innovation. Critical innovation considers the complex effects on teachers, students, communities, caregivers, and schools introduced by information and communication technologies. It incorporates the processes, products, and policies that consider the multiple forms that innovation can take while considering the social and cultural implications of innovations. From this perspective the research team will ensure that all major center efforts support some form of systematic inquiry.
